Leo Wong Ceramics

Born and raised in Hong Kong (b. 1981), with a bachelor’s and master’s Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Leo currently resides and works in Hong Kong. He has lived in Switzerland (Geneva) and Singapore and participated in various exhibitions across Europe and Asia.
 
Enchanting and lifelike, Leo’s floral sculptures were famously collected by Van Cleef & Arpels, Chanel, The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong and Netherlands Consulate-General in Hong Kong. Though most of his artworks are commissioned, they are also sold at Hong Kong M+ Museum and Lane Crawford

香港陶藝家 Leo Wong (王俊賢) 生於1981年，香港中文大學畢業，擁有地理系學士和碩士學位。畢業後投身園藝設計，憑藉豐富植物學知識及對陶藝的熱愛，創作一系列栩栩如生的花卉陶藝雕塑。王氏的創作靈感來自花卉、建築及文學，作品非常注重表現生命力，致力呈現自然界的微細差異以及不對稱美學。他曾到新加坡、比利時、瑞士、歐洲多地參與陶藝展覽。

過去十年，從陶到瓷，他 不斷鑽研如何將植物做得更像真，花瓣更纖柔細膩。將對植物的熱愛和知識，灌注入陶藝雕塑，呈現自然界的無盡生命力。及至近年他嘗試採用一種高透光度瓷泥，並摒棄釉彩，成功創作一系列白裡透光的花卉雕塑。薄胎白瓷創作需要更高技巧，燒製溫度亦更高，容易變形崩塌，每件作品燒成變得更不可預測。 但他享受創造中的每個新嘗試，這過程得到的領悟和發現驅使他不斷探索和精進工藝。

王氏作品中蘊含一種獨特東方意境、哲學，令世界感受亞洲工藝的崇尚自然、優雅時尚。其作品獲 Chanel 、 Van Cleef & Arpels、 香港半島酒店等收藏，於香港M+視覺文化博物館、連卡佛與世界各地藝廊有售。
