Leo Wong

Leo Wong is a ceramic artist, designer and aborist. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Leo has a Bachelor and Master Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Leo has a deep passion in craft, naturalisim and Asian art & culture. His ceramic artworks attach great importance to the expression of vitality which strives to present the subtle nuances, fragility and asymmetry in the natural world. His knowledge of botanicals is cultivated from professional career as a landscape designer for over 20 years.
Leo is the finalists of Hari Art Prize in 2023. In September 2024, he was invited to participate in Venice’s craft biennale Homo Faber – a promoiant exhibition in Europe.
Currently resides and works in Hong Kong, Leo lived in Switzerland (Geneva) and Singapore in his early life. He is also the founder and chairman of Hong Kong International Ceramics Association, dedicated on education and promotion of craftsmanship and cultural initiatives.
